Meet Your Guides
Charlie Wetzel
Instructor
Charlie has been a full-time professional writer for more than thirty years. He has worked with John C. Maxwell, helping him to write more than 100 books, including all of John’s New York Times bestsellers. The books they have created together have sold more than 34 million copies. In addition, Charlie wrote The Marvel Studios Story, the short film The Candy Shop, a novella called A Christmas Wish, and three books co-authored with Kevin Myers.
Before Charlie wrote for a living, he was a college dean and English instructor, having earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English at the University of New Orleans. His first career was in restaurant kitchens where he worked as a chef. He still likes to cook and can be seen on his YouTube channel, “Becoming a Cook.”
Stephanie Wetzel

Stephanie has edited everything written by her husband Charlie since 1994. She also wrote a great deal of content for the Maxwell organizations as well as creating John C. Maxwell’s personal blog and social media. (She launched his social presence on Twitter and Facebook in 2008 and grew both to over two and a half million followers during her tenure.) She has edited for several authors in addition to Maxwell. And she is the author of The Spanx Story (Harper Collins Business 2020). Stephanie also produced and edited everything on Charlie’s YouTube channel.
